FITNESS & STUDIO MANAGER

 

Tahoe Flow Arts Studio and Stay Gold Fitness & Athletics is seeking a part-time fitness & studio manager.  The fitness & studio manager is responsible for administration, member services, and daily operations of the fitness center & studio. 

Job Duties 
Manage studio schedule for classes and special offerings
Manage emails and phone calls 
Mange studio software and updates 
Manage studio rentals
Assist in the hiring process
Manage the hiring audition, training and quality control processes
Support teachers’ for weekly classes, workshops, or series
Motivate, guide and lead the team to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals and all levels of customer service.
Responsible for driving all revenue and target goals for fitness center & studio (e.g. memberships, classes, privates, retail, training/workshop/series, studio rentals as required).
Manage and maintain safety & cleanliness of fitness center & studio (floors, equipment, mirrors, etc.) 
Drive the educational development of the fitness, performing arts & yoga team and help facilitate the latest trends 
Build community amongst the teachers and students through exceptional quality products which include the highest level of teaching in the industry, dynamic programming, workshops and training. 
Schedule and facilitate regular teacher meetings 
Assist and facilitate events 
Manage inventory and sell physical products


Qualifications
Must be enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable, personable, with proven leadership ability
Interact positively with teachers, clients, customers and students
Ability to hire, train and identify fitness, yoga and performing arts teaching talent
Ability to manage general gym staff to instructors and trainers, work in and cultivate a team environment.
Have knowledge of all major styles of fitness, yoga and performing arts and up and coming trends
A creative eye for social media, branding, newsletter management, and marketing
Have computer knowledge and comfort, ability to learn and use our administration and merchant/point of sales software, including a calendar and scheduling
Dedication to TFAS & SGF&A’s  mission
Flexible and willing to work occasionally on weekends and evenings throughout the year
CPR and AED certified


​Location: 6921 North Lake Blvd. #211,  Tahoe Vista, Ca 96148

Compensation and Schedule:
$17/hour.  25 hours a week, days and hours to be determined by mutual agreement.  Applicants must have flexibility and be available to work evenings and weekends when the need arises.  Possible rate and hour increase by monthly review based on performance and sales.
